Si, avete letto bene, non stiamo parlando del nuovo Motorola Xoom 2, da poco sul mercato internazionale, ma del suo predecessore Xoom, il primo tablet Motorola con sistema operativo Android 3.0 Honeycomb. A quanto pare ci sono delle novità in arrivo non ben specificate ma che potrebbero interessare tutti i possessori di questo ottimo device.
Il misterioso progetto, che poi tanto misterioso non è dato che Motorola ne ha parlato pubblicamente nel forum dedicato, offre la possibilità a tutti i possessori di Xoom (versione USA solo Wi-Fi) di candidarsi per entrare a farne parte. Ma entrare a far parte di cosa esattamente ? Questo punto in effetti viene lasciato in ombra ma, per esclusione di argomenti come modifiche hardware o tweaks particolari ormai improbabili, l’ipotesi più quotata sull’oggetto di questi esperimenti resta quello della realizzazione di un test-team per lavorare sulla messa a punto e sul rilascio di Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich dedicata al tablet Motorola.
Appena avremo maggiori notizie e magari qualche testimonianza diretta di uno dei partecipanti vi aggiorneremo sicuramente, per adesso vi lasciamo al messaggio ufficiale postato sul forum dei possessori di Motorola Xoom:
